a suitable bedroom (not an enclosed porch, hallway, etc.)
	an operating telephone
	emergency phone numbers posted near the telephone
	a smoke detector on each floor
	a fire extinguisher in the kitchen for class B fires
	a non-community drinking source
	no obvious safety hazards like broken glass, exposed wires, etc.
	medications must be kept locked
	cleaning fluids must be kept locked

Your home must be inspected annually for these requirements for foster care. You will also receive an initial orientation and will be required to have 12 hours of training per year, minimum.
